Welcome to Cloud Picker Cafe, a vibrant gem nestled in The Projector Room at The Academy on Pearse Street, Dublin. This delightful café stands out as a haven for coffee enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. With a commitment to quality and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Cloud Picker Cafe offers a unique experience that not only satisfies your coffee cravings but also makes you feel right at home.

As you step inside, the cozy ambiance envelops you, making it the perfect spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or even indulge in some quiet contemplation. The café’s charming decor exudes a welcoming vibe that encourages you to linger a little longer. Whether you choose to settle into one of the few available seats indoors or enjoy a sunny day with a pastry outside, Cloud Picker Cafe radiates a spirit of comfort.

The heart of Cloud Picker Cafe lies in its exceptional coffee and delectable pastries. Customers rave about the quality of the offerings, especially the cappuccinos—whether you opt for regular or oat milk, each cup is crafted to perfection. A standout special that you absolutely cannot miss is the pistachioberry double baked croissant, a delightful treat that has captured the hearts of many. One visitor, Dmitry Shashkov, enthusiastically noted how these pastries are “to die for,” while another customer, Christian Melendez, described experiencing one of the best coffees he’s ever had, especially with the unique option to toast your beans.

The friendly and attentive staff at Cloud Picker Cafe truly elevate the experience. As R Omallski fondly shared, the team goes above and beyond to create a warm atmosphere, even providing a bowl of water for canine companions. It’s this personal touch that keeps patrons coming back, as many, like Foodie Traveler, can attest: the overall pleasant experience is only complemented by the café’s buzz of cheerful interactions.

However, while Cloud Picker Cafe boasts a lot of strengths, it’s worth noting that it can get quite busy during peak hours, which may lead to occasional misunderstandings or mix-ups in orders, as highlighted by Dr. RL. Nevertheless, the welcoming vibe and quality offerings genuinely outweigh these minor drawbacks, making each visit memorable.

In conclusion, Cloud Picker Cafe on Pearse Street is more than just a coffee shop; it’s a local treasure that invites you to savor the moment. Whether you’re a die-hard coffee aficionado or just someone in search of a cozy spot to relax, this cafe delivers an unmissable experience that resonates with the heartbeat of Dublin’s coffee culture. Stop by, grab a perfect cup, and let the ambiance wrap around you like a favorite sweater. You just might find yourself a regular!

Can’t get over how lovely the staff here are! I brought my dog while meeting a friend for a coffee this morning and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming and even brought my dog a bowl of water while we had our coffee (which was gorgeous btw). Highly recommend

Superb little coffee place. The staff is universally sweet, the atmosphere is super friendly. Our cappuccinos (regular and oat) were perfect, and the pastries - to die for. Special mention for pistachio-berry double baked croissant, a unique remedy for a morning after (too many) Guinness.

I visited this coffee shop because Google recommended it as the best in the area, and it lived up to the hype. The cozy ambiance made me feel like I could easily spend the entire day here. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The coffee was decent, but it wasn’t particularly my cup of tea (I’m not a coffee expert, so I may not be the best judge). However, I’m definitely coming back!

The coffee was good and the treats were good. They mixed up our order and gave us a wrong kind of food and we had to go buy something else out of pocket. It was really busy. There may be three seats indoors and maybe five seats outside. It’s really a take-go.

I think I’ve had one of the best coffees here, what an amazing quality. They even have the option for you toast your beans, which is something I’ll plan for next time.

Amazing specialty coffee shop. I always buy my beans here. They are roasted in Dublin and range from 12€ to 25€ and they will grind them for you. Pastries also available. Some small tables outside and inside.

This review is about sustainability! Thank you so much for providing a wonderful space, with delicious coffee, and a clear commitment to creating no plastic waste in the process. It means a lot to me as a customer to be able to enjoy my meal without the guilt of contributing to the plastic pollution crisis. I love how you put out clear signage, offer obvious solutions, and encourage folks like need to bring their own cup. By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, and it’s great to know that your business will not be one contributing to that statistic. Keep up the awesome work, I wish more businesses would show their connection to the local ecosystem, and the global one, and the ways that you do. Love to see it!

Lovely coffee shop. Baristas clearly care about their job, and the results are evident. Had a peanut butter bite that was perfection! Lovely place.
